Sporting Guns Inter Club Competition

The Ladies and Gentlemen Sporting Guns of the Naval, Military & Air force Club of South Australia Inc

Saturday 19th August 2017

The Sporting Guns of the Naval, Military & Air force Club and the Gentlemen Guns of The Adelaide Club will hold their inter club sporting clays social shoot on Saturday 19 August 2017 at the SA Field and Game Association shooting grounds followed by dinner at the Naval, Military & Air force Club.

Lady Guns
Regardless of one’s experience, or lack thereof, Lady Guns and teenage children are encouraged to join in and become a major part of what can only be described as one of the most significant events on the South Australian social calendar. Trophies will include the Lady High Gun along with the sartorial splendour award for the most appropriately dressed Lady Gun.

There is an increasing interest in clay target shooting as a recognised sport in many schools and colleges in Australia and the UK. The Inter Club Social Shoot will provide an opportunity for the teenage children of participating Guns to experience clay target shooting under strictly controlled conditions while at the time developing an understanding of this expanding sport.
