Ulli Spranz - Founder and Owner of B.-d. Farm Paris Creek

Ulli Spranz is a high achieving
business leader who migrated from Germany to Australia with her husband Helmut and young children to find the perfect place to settle down. In 1998 they found idyllic Paris Creek and decided that this was the place they were looking for, a beautiful valley close to Adelaide. Helmut and Ulli’s dream was to set up a food manufacturin​g business, where they could prove that environmenta​lly friendly farming and manufacturin​g can be financially viable and commercially achieved.

Vision, determinatio​n and hard work built up from a small dairy has seen them to now employ 70 staff at B.-d. Farm Paris Creek, the business we know today. Today it is a sought after, award winning national brand, recognised for premium, healthy yogurts, cheeses, Quark, butter and fresh milk. Ulli is determined that their products, despite highest biodynamic-organic quality, will still remain affordable and accessible to ensure families can benefit from their health-giving properties. Ulli will explain the history of the business, how they built up a sustainable company and manage the demands of the retail world. She will provide an insight into the challenges of dairy farming and how using biodynamic methods are contributing to a healthier environment.
