Bethany Wine Dinner

Wednesday, 25 October 2017

Bethany Wines are one of the oldest established winemakers in the Barossa Valley. The cycle of life in their Barossa vines has been turning for more than 150 years, since the Schrapel family planted their first vineyards in 1852. Today the winery is run by the fifth and sixth generations of the same Schrapel family and the vines’ life cycle continues in much the same way as it always has, with minimal intervention from us to produce the best possible vines and grapes. The majority of fruit is sourced from hand-tendered vines in Bethany belonging to the Schrapel family. During summer, the vines are fanned in the evenings with cool gully breezes, creating a special microclimate that allows the grapes to achieve good sugar and acid levels without becoming over-ripe. The gradual ripening creates well balanced wines that are full of flavour and structure. Come to the Club for this premium wine experience and enjoy a three-course dinner that is paired with a selection of Bethany’s most celebrated wines.
